The left interior picture shows the coach seats in the "Red River". There were three coaches, 1137, 1138 and 1139. (According to Ben Ringnald's surviving equipment survey, 1137 and 1139 survive, although they were gutted by New Jersey Transit and converted to commuter coaches. They were identical to the "International" coaches, except their upholstery had a wheat motif rather than the pine trees.

The picture on the right shows the observation-lounge section of the "Red River" tail car. There was only one, 1147 "Red River." It was remanufactured into 68-seat coach 1147 in 1963, and survives as "Southern Pacific Daylight" coach 6800.
